Join us for our Autumn planting action in Schaffhausen.

Adults, either alone or with children, can take the opportunity to plant their own tree – sponsored by us!  We will be working with the cantonal forester to plant up to 50 plants of various native species in the cantonal forest.

  • Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025. In case of bad weather, we’ll meet on Wednesday, October 29, 2025
  • Time and duration: from 2 p.m onwards; estimated 3–4 hours.
  • Location: Schaffhausen, at a point easily accessible by public transport. The exact location will be shared soon.

The “Kantonsforstamt” (Cantonal Forestry Department) of Schaffhausen will remain, as owner of the space, responsible for the maintenance of the new plants.

What's included?

As a reference, a 100 CHF donation can cover between 20 and 300 trees, depending on project partner. This amount covers planting, monitoring and administration costs.

The process has no costs for you, but involves a detailed review by our team. If the assessment is positive, your organisation will be added to our website as a network member and becomes eligible for support by Reforestation World.
