Initiatives and organisations in action

Around the world, many initiatives and organisations are working to restore forest ecosystems and their functions, while ensuring a sustainable use by people. Corresponding to the global dimension of this issue, the commitments for planting or restoring are bigger than ever before.

A donation or yearly membership sponsors our work - in Switzerland and abroad - and a minimum number of trees, planted together with our network partners.

What's included?

As a reference, a 100 CHF donation can cover between 20 and 300 trees, depending on project partner. This amount covers planting, monitoring and administration costs.

Donations to REFORESTATION WORLD are tax deductible within Switzerland, following the official tax-exemption granted by the authorities of the Canton of Zurich.

For donation receipts, please provide us with your name, e-mail address and relevant remarks.

A fee of 2-5% will be deducted from your donation fee by the external payment provider. If you wish to avoid this, consider doing a bank transfer (CHF or USD).

Do you have a project? Join our network!

Is your organisation involved in reforestation or forest ecosystem restoration? Do you have an active, ongoing project that you would like to show to others and can provide information about it? Then we would like to hear from you!

The process has no costs for you, but involves a detailed review by our team. If the assessment is positive, your organisation will be added to our website as a network member and becomes eligible for support by Reforestation World.
